Do you ever scroll through channels on TV and realize “I only watch a few of these channels, why am I paying for 100 of them?”
Well, Canada thought that same thing, but they actually did something about it!
Last Thursday, Canada put a $25 cap on the price of basic cable, as well as forcing TV providers to offer channels a la carte, instead of bundling like almost all cable companies do. This means customers can pay for the channels they want to watch, and opt out of paying for channels they don’t plan on watching.
Those Canadians might be on to something..
