Marquette – A Digital Photography Basics class will be offered on Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Marquette Arts and Culture Center, located on the lower level of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Diane Jarvi, instructor of photography at NMU’s School of Art and Design will cover the basics of shooting with a digital camera. Topics include: basics of photography, camera settings, explanation of technical terms, and software options. Each student should bring their personal digital camera to class. A short break for lunch will be provided; please plan accordingly.
The registration fee is $18 for city residents and $20.50 for non-residents.
