A local photography group founded by Dave Sargent and Kurt Babcock, The Secret Society of the Finch, is inviting the public to their upcoming exhibit and opening reception. The group, which is open to all, meets monthly at the Second Story Studio in downtown Marquette. There are around a dozen members, with disciplines ranging from wildlife and astral work to fine art and landscape photography. Group members Taryn Okesson and Kurt Babcock are hosting the Society’s exhibit and the opening reception in their downtown space (details below)
“On the Wall”, the groups first show, is a collection of photography from the Secret Society of the Finch members – there is no concrete theme, they are simply photos they love and want to be seen off the screen. 
The show is on display from April 10 – May 31. The opening reception is Friday, May 9th, 5pm-8pm.
