Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette Downtown Development Authority says some streetscape projects in the city are wrapping up soon.
The 200 block of West Washington Street has undergone just over $200-thousand in infrastructure repairs and improvements.
The DDA says the project is part of an ongoing effort to increase pedestrian and vehicle safety and update the look of the street and sidewalks.
Curb replacement and sidewalk repairs are also being constructed in various locations on North Third Street to add more on-street parking spaces.
Both projects are on schedule to be completed later this month.
