Marquette Man Arraigned For Home Invasion

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Marquette man has been arraigned following his arrest this week for a reported home invasion.

    33-year-old Derek Lentz is charged with 2nd Degree Home Invasion and Narcotics Possession.

    Police were called to 1955 Freedom Drive around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.

    Witnesses told police that the suspect had left the scene in a rusty Ford Explorer driven by a woman.

    The vehicle was located by police and was stopped at the McClellan Avenue and Grove Street intersection.

    Lentz was a passenger in the vehicle and was taken into custody on several outstanding warrants as well as illegally possessing prescription drugs.

    Reports say he faces a maximum of 19 years in prison, if convicted.
