UP Health System – Marquette CEO Resigns

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – UP Health System – Marquette is beginning a national search for a new CEO following the resignation of CEO Ed Banos.

In a statement released yesterday, the hospital says Jim Bogan is assuming the top leadership post at the hospital while the search is launched.

Bogan, who is Market President for UP Health System, will become interim CEO effective June 11th, following the departure of Banos.

The hospital says Banos, who has served as CEO since 2013, is pursuing an opportunity at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

No other information concerning the departure of Banos is being discussed by the hospital.

Bogan will continue as Market President while serving as interim CEO.
