Ishpeming Township, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The NICE Community Schools Board of Education has approved a plan to put a bond proposal before voters in the district this spring. The board approved a bond referendum for a point-3 mil increase to raise funds for a $4-point-17 million project to build new gymnasiums and locker facilities at schools in the district. The plan is to put the proposal on the ballot for voters to decide in May, and if the millage is approved, groundbreaking for the project would be this summer.
