Grand Marais, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash yesterday in Alger County.

Authorities say it happened around 11:30 a.m. on M-77 near Grand Marais when a southbound pickup truck crossed the center line and hit a northbound SUV head-on.

The driver of the pickup, a 26-year-old downstate man and two passengers, along with the driver of the SUV, a 72-year-old man from Grand Marais, were all injured.

They were taken to Helen Newberry Joy Hospital for treatment of significant injuries.

No names have been released and the accident remains under investigation.
