Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Traffic flow changes on a portion of Baraga Avenue in the City of Marquette are continuing.

Left hand turns off of Baraga Avenue onto McClellan Avenue are not being allowed for vehicles heading south toward US-41.

The intersection is part of a traffic flow study in connection with the construction of the new Duke LifePoint Hospital on Baraga.

The left turn ban will be in effect until November.

Also, traffic on Baraga Avenue between Seventh and McClellan Avenue will be detoured to Washington Street starting next week.

The detour will be in effect from Monday, July 11th through Friday, July 22nd and is needed due to site work with the new hospital.
