Escanaba, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The man arrested in Escanaba over the weekend in connection with a home invasion has been arraigned.

25-year-old Harley Finnerty was arraigned in Delta County Circuit Court on five counts including second degree home invasion and attempted second degree home invasion.

Escanaba Public Safety officers responded to the report of a home invasion in the 1400 block of North 20th Street early Saturday.

A short time later, they were sent to investigate a report of a man rummaging through a vehicle as well as reports of items missing from several vehicles.

Police arrested Finnerty inside one of the vehicles, and he was charged with two counts of larceny from a motor vehicle and one count of malicious destruction of property.

He faces a preliminary exam June 30th.
