Marquette Man Arrested For Stealing Lawn Mower

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Police arrested one person after he allegedly attempted to steal a riding lawn mower from an area business.

Officers were called out to the Marquette Sears store on O’Dovero Drive around 2:30 this morning on a report of a suspicious situation.

Police arriving on the scene found 35-year-old Brad Lee-Alan Morris of Marquette attempting to steal a riding lawn mower from the business.

He was arrested on a charge of felony larceny of more than $1,000 but less than $20,000.

He was lodged in the Marquette County Jail and faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
