Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Michigan Department of Transportation is officially starting a major road project today in Marquette County.
M-DOT is investing $1.6 million to mill and resurface 13 miles of M-553 from M-35 to County Road 480.
M-DOT says the project will require lane closures under flag control.
The resurfacing project is expected to be completed by mid-July.
