Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Michigan Department of Transportation has temporarily closed a park in Alger County until further notice.
M-DOT officials say the Deer Lake Roadside Park along M-28 is closed as of today because of problem bears in the area.
Wildlife experts from the Michigan DNR will be working to trap and relocate black bears that have been raiding garbage at the park.
Officials say the park will reopen as soon as possible.
