Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Delta County man has announced he is running for the 38th District State Senate seat.
Christopher Germain of Escanaba announced his candidacy as a Democrat today for the seat currently held by Republican Tom Casperson, also of Escanaba.
The 38th Senate District spans across the western and central Upper Peninsula.
Germain, a long-time realtor in Delta County says unemployment, revenue sharing and education are the key issues facing the district that he plans to address on his campaign.
Germain will be launching a website soon at votegermain.com.
He will also be announcing a campaign kickoff tour that will include various stops around the Upper Peninsula.
