Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan State Police at Central Dispatch in Negaunee have closed down M-28 between Munising and Kawbawgam Road in Chocolay Township.

The closure is in effect until further notice due to continuing white-out conditions along Lake Superior.

The alternate route is M-94 between Munising and Skandia Township in Marquette County.

State Police are reminding motorists to expect difficult driving conditions in areas at times as of blowing snow develops.
