Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The criminal sexual conduct trial of a Marquette County man ended this morning following a guilty plea.
The trial of 60-year-old Joel Anderson of Little Lake, charged with crimes involving a minor under the age of 13, began yesterday in Marquette County Circuit Court, but came to an end after Anderson plead guilty to Criminal Sexual Conduct with Intent to Commit Sexual Penetration.
Anderson originally plead “not guilty” to charges of two counts of first degree CSC and two counts of second degree CSC.
The charge in the plea agreement carries a penalty of no less than four years and no more than 10 years in prison.
No sentencing date has been set.
