State Seeks Public Input On Straits Pipeline Studies

Lansing, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The State of Michigan is looking for public input on proposals from environmental and engineering experts to complete two studies on the Mackinac Straits pipeline known as Enbridge Energy’s Line 5.

The Michigan Pipeline Safety Advisory Board is advising the state on finding qualified contractors to conduct analysis projects on the current risk of the pipeline and alternatives to it.

Public comment is open until this Friday.
