MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – No injuries were reported in a garage fire yesterday afternoon in Manistique Township.
Manistique Public Safety were called by one of the homeowners just before 4 p.m. about the fire at 5560W River Road. The large pole building was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene.
The structure and its contents, including a vehicle, a boat and snowmobiles, are believed to be a total loss.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but the cause is believed to be electrical in nature.
