    U.P. Regional Blood Center in need of bloodMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)The U.P. Regional Blood Center, a service of Marquette General, is in critical need of three types of blood in all of their service areas.

    The Blood Center currently has a need for A-positive, O-negative and A-negative blood throughout Upper Peninsula. The need is high is Escanaba, Hancock, Iron Mountain, Marquette and Sault Ste. Marie.

    If you are in good health and have not donated in the last 8 weeks, you can donate at the U.P. Regional Blood Center in Marquette at 427 West College Avenue adjacent to Marquette General Hospital.  You can also donate at blood centers in Escanaba, Hancock, Iron Mountain and Sault Ste. Marie.
