    Possible World War II nerve gas exposure ends with police finding meth lab in MarquetteMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Police and detectives with the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team report the discovery of an operating meth lab at an apartment located at 1950 Presque Isle late last week.

    The lab was located on Friday by authorities after an investigation by the County Sheriff’s Office into the case involving the possible exposure of a person to World War II era nerve gas reported last week.

    Officers searched the apartment and found an active cook operation.  Tenants were evacuated and six surrounding apartments were also cleared.

    UPSET detectives then proceeded with clean-up of the scene and evidence collection.  The case remains under investigation and no names have been released.
