MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Gas prices in Michigan are up just over three cents a gallon this week.
However, according to Triple-A Michigan, the current statewide average of $3.91 cents per gallon is almost 53 cents more than at this time last year.
Triple-A reports that the lowest average price among the cities it surveys, was found in the Marquette area at slightly more than $3.76 cents per gallon.
The highest price was in the Jackson area at nearly $3.94 cents. Triple-A Michigan surveys 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily.
