Marquette County Bomb Threat Suspect In Psychiatric Care

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect in the series of bomb threats reported last Friday around Marquette County is currently in custody and is receiving psychiatric therapy at Marquette General Hospital.

Authorities say the suspect was identified Friday after the threat against the Sawyer Medical Center was called in.  The suspect was arrested and transferred to the hospital for review and treatment.  The suspect has only been identified as a juvenile and the suspect’s name will not be released.

No explosives were located in any of the threat locations, and the investigation is continuing.
