Two dead bodies in Marquette, investigations continue

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Autopsy results are pending in the investigations into the causes of the deaths of two Marquette residents.

Marquette City Police are continuing their investigation into the death of 34-year-old Shawn Dollar, whose body was located late last week in a vacant building in downtown Marquette.

State Police at the Negaunee Post are not suspecting foul play in the death of 25-year-old Amy Luella Janson, whose body was found last week by hikers in a bog at the Wetmore Pond area in Marquette Township.

Dollar had been reported missing last Thursday, while Janson had been missing since May.

More information into these investigations is expected from authorities once autopsy results are finalized.
