Chocolay Township, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Two people were injured in a two-car crash on M-28 in Chocolay Township yesterday.

The accident happened just after 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of M-28 and Hiawatha.

Police say a 24-year-old Ishpeming man pulled out from Hiawatha onto M-28 into the path of an eastbound car driven by a 32-year-old man from downstate Rochester Hills.

The driver of the eastbound car and a passenger were taken to U.P. Health System Marquette.

There is no word on their condition at this time.

The Ishpeming man was ticketed for Failure to Yield the Right of Way.

The man and a passenger in the vehicle were not injured and no names have been released.
