Governor Snyder Selects Marquette County Man To Head Northern Michigan Office

Michigan Governor Rick Snyder

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Governor Rick Snyder has selected a Marquette County man to lead his Northern Michigan Office.   David Nyberg of Skandia was appointed today as director of the Governor’s Northern Michigan Office.

Nyberg will be based in Marquette.  He takes over for Greg Andrews, who will become resource economic development liaison with the Michigan D-N-R. Nyberg is founder of 3rd Coast Strategies LLC, a Marquette-based government affairs consulting company which predominantly works with natural resource industry clients.

Previously, he served as legislative affairs manager for the Michigan United Conservation Clubs and as legislative assistant to former Speaker of the House Craig DeRoche.  Nyberg’s appointment is effective this Monday.
