Former Marquette Man Arrested On Felony Explosives Charges

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Police have arrested a former Marquette man on explosives charges.

28-year-old Christian Nutini is charged with one count of Placing Explosives Near Property Causing Damage and one count of Placing An Explosive In Or Near A Vulnerable Target.

The charges come after an investigation into damages at the City Lift Station on the corner of Hawley and Presque Isle in north Marquette.

The charges are both felonies punishable by up to 20 years in prison each.

Nutini is lodged in the Marquette County Jail on $100-thousand bond on each count.
