The WFXD Texaco Country Showdown July 5th at Marquette’s Lower Harbor was a huge success with tons of fans and tons of performers!
Eight competitors got on the Exchange Club’s and Great Lakes Radio stage to sing covers and originals for the judges during the 2nd local Texaco Country Showdown. Once again it was a close competition, but the judges did a wonderful job and chose Jessie McPherson to be the Showdown winner.
He will advance on to the Wisconsin State Fair, August 2nd, along with A.J. Stone our July 3rd Ishpeming Festival of Treasures Showdown winner, to compete in the next round of State Finals!
