Negaunee, Michigan – December 12, 2018 – Well, it was fantastic.
On 12/3, my husband Cody and I left the snowy cold U.P. to enjoy warmer temps and salty water in Mexico.
It was Cody’s first time 1) On a plane; 2) Out of the country; and 3) Trip alone with me. It was my first time out of the country and on a trip alone with Cody.
I’ve been on planes several times, but the last time was 10 years ago!
Let’s just say in short, that we had the best time.
We stayed a week at an all-inclusive resort (Iberostar Paraiso Beach) on the Riviera Maya in Quintana Roo, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico (about a 30 minute drive from the Cancun airport).
The resort, the weather, the people, the beach, and the culture were all amazing.
In relation to the food, let’s just say, that it was SO good that Cody and I now need to add a few more
minutes to our work out sessions.
