Negaunee, Michigan – November 1, 2018 – Another successful Halloween is in the books! Holden had an amazing time trick-or-treating with his friends, and got a pretty good haul of candy (he said he’d share….).
Cody and I went to see the Halloween Parade at Lakeview Elementary yesterday that all of the students take part in each year. It was so cute, and there were so many unique costumes.
After the parade, each classroom had a Halloween party. All of the kids got a bunch of goodies and watched a fun Halloween-themed movie. Holden had quite a few treats during that party, too. It’s safe to say he was happy!
He thoroughly enjoyed trick-or-treating with his best friends Ellery and Landin later that day. They hit up a bunch of houses, but only lasted about an hour. It was pretty cute – they said their “arms got tired” from holding their treat bags! I don’t ever remember that happening to me – haha!
Anyways, it was a lot of fun, and seeing the smiles on my son’s and his friends’ faces was worth the walking in the cold (but let’s just note for the record that it was a BEAUTIFUL Halloween night- there was NO snow!).
I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! Now, on to November and Thanksgiving…
