Marquette, MI – (mediaBrew Communications) – “Stuff the Bus” is a one day Marquette County-wide event that’s coming up this Monday to collect new school supplies for children in need.
Organizer Dee Dee Larson joined the Sunny Morning Show today to talk about the event and how you can take part.
Larson said that all children deserve the chance to start their first day of school with all the supplies needed to make their learning experience everything it should be.
She explained that a Checker Transport school bus will be parked at the Marquette Holiday Inn at 1951 US 41 W on Monday, August 5th from 10am to 6pm
Larson said residents and businesses can drop their donations off during this time and “Stuff the Bus”.
At 6pm the bus will deliver all donations at the YMCA of Marquette County where they will be sorted and distributed to our local children in need.
Larson added that cash donations are always appreciated as well and can be made at the event.
