Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette Brewing Co-Operative is holding a special event this Saturday to spread the word about who they are and what they do.
Board Member Cori Noordyk joined the Sunny Morning Show today to invite all to the group’s Open House at their location at 501 South Lake Street in Marquette from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Noordyk said the event is a chance for interested people to find out more about the co-op, which is a grassroots effort on the part of homebrewers and craft beer lovers in the Marquette area to create a cooperatively-owned microbrewery and taproom in order to meet the needs of its member/owners.
She added that the group will provide for a much greater variety of craft beer choices than is currently available anywhere in the area, access to home brewing ingredients and education about beer styles, beer history, beer tasting, and beer brewing.
