Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – 2018-19 United Way of Marquette County campaign co-chairs Shawn Beckman and Glenn Sarka recently joined the Sunny Morning Show to talk about this year’s campaign.
Beckman and Sarka explained that the campaign officially kicked off September 6th with goal of raising $400,000 for the United Way member agencies.
They said that all funds collected through June 30, 2019 will go toward the 2018-19 campaign, but they added that they hope to have the bulk of the pledges by the end of December.
Beckman and Sarka also talked about why they became involved in the campaign and why they feel it’s important to give to the United Way of Marquette County.
