Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The NICE Community Schools are keeping busy with several student activities and programs that are seeing success.

Superintendent Bryan DeAugustine joined the Sunny Morning Show this week to share a district update.

DeAugustine said the school’s recently-formed student cybersecurity team placed very well in state competition and one of the students, Aili Harmon, was named the #1 female cybersecurity student in the state.

He also talked about recent grants awarded to the district by the Michigan State Police to upgrade security on campus.

DeAugustine also said the district recently went through a financial audit that showed the district on solid financial footing.
