Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio) – Our latest Upper Peninsula Health Plan update is focusing on provider relations and their role at UPHP.
UPHP Provider Relations Manager Pam Janofski discussed a wide array of points related to provider relations including the reasons they work closely with health care providers, and the importance of accurate provider data.
Janofski also talked about a Provider In-Service for Provider/Doctor office and nursing staffs, clinicians that work within the offices such as Nursing Aids and others.

Janey Joffee, Assistant Director Upper Peninsula Health Care Solutions also came in to talk about ans upcoming one-day Master of Health Administration training seminar on Friday, September 28th at the Staybridge Suites in Marquette
Joffee said the seminar will provide tools and resources to assist rural providers’ and communities’ transition from volume-based health care to value-based health care.
