Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Officials with the Eagle Mine in northern Marquette County say they have identified another potentially successful ore body near their current mine.
Eagle Mine Spokesperson Dan Blondeau joined The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about the new area of high‐grade mineralization.
Blondeau said the ore body is about a mile-and-a-quarter east of the current deposit and 3,000 feet below the surface.
He also talked about the schedule of public tours for people to take this summer and early fall at both the Eagle Mine near Big Bay and the Humboldt Mill in Ely Township.
