Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to discuss her “New Skills for New Jobs” Agenda.
Stabenow said the plan grew out a recent series of meetings with business owners, labor leaders, educators, and parents from across the state that focused on how to meet their needs and provide job opportunities for all Michigan workers and students.
She said this plan will help every young person get the skills they need for a good-paying job, and will also help those who are looking for second and third careers in their life.
Stabenow added that whether a person is headed to college or not, this plan will showcase great opportunities to get the skills for a good-paying job in Michigan.
