Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Manager Mike Angeli stopped in this morning to preview tonight’s Marquette City Commission meeting.
Angeli said the Commission will be hearing reports from the City Planning Commission and the Marquette Area Sister Cities Partnership about their trip to Higashiomi, Japan.
Also on the agenda is a public hearing on an application for a liquor license for a property on North 3rd Street, and the Commission will formally establish the Marquette Public Art Commission and appoint it’s members.
Angeli also took a few moments to share some of his thoughts on the passing of Marquette icon Phil Niemisto.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. at Marquette City Hall on Baraga Avenue.
