Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – U.S. Senator Gary Peters stopped in on the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today as he kicked off his annual motorcycle tour of the Upper Peninsula.
Peters talked about several topics during his visit including the U.S. Coast Guard, funding for improvements and upgrades to the Soo Locks, veterans affairs and national security issues.
He also spent a few moments sharing his thoughts on the current situation concerning a possible nuclear threat from North Korea.
Peters is spending the next several days touring across the U.P. on a motorcycle and is meeting with several groups and constituents while he’s on road.
