Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Superior Watershed Partnership is hosting a Community Pollution Prevention effort across the U.P. this weekend.
Natasha Koss, Program Manager with the SWP, joined the SUNNY morning Show with Walt & Mike this week to encourage all to take part in the 2015 UP-Wide Medication Collection.
Koss explained that the at 15 locations across the U.P. are part of the Earthkeeper netswork of community churches and the goal is to gather as many old prescription and non-prescription medicines as possible.
The collection locations will be open on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., local time, and are free and open to the public.
