Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Northern Michigan University Archives are hosting an event looking back at student protests at NMU.

University Archivist Marcus Robyns joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike to discuss the online exhibition.

Robyns said student employees at the Archives will be giving a presentation this Thursday evening detailing several student protests that took place on Northern’s campus in the 1960s.

The event will begin at 7:00pm in Room 126 of the Learning Resource Center and are free to attend.

Robyns added there would be cookies and good coffee and you can call the Archives at (906) 227-1225 if you would like to request more information.
