“Scrooge” Returns To Northern Michigan University’s Forest Roberts Theatre

Marquette, MI – (Great Lake Radio News) – The Christmas classic, “Scrooge”, returns to the Forest Roberts Theatre at Northern Michigan University this week after an eight year absence.

Dave Dagenais, the show’s director,  and actor Devin Murphy, who plays Bob Cratchit, joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about the show and it’s run.

Dagenais says the musical is the classic version based on Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” and features a cast of NMU students, faculty and staff and community members.

Murphy says he is enjoying portraying the character of Bob Cratchit and working with both adults and children in the cast.

Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, December 15th through Saturday, December 17th, with additional 1:00 p.m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday the 18th.

Tickets are $15 for the general public, $10 for students and $5 for NMU students and can be purchased at any NMU EZ Ticket outlet or at nmu.edu/tickets.
