Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The 8th Annual U.P. Fall Beer Festival is happening this Saturday afternoon at Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette.
Scott Graham, Executive Director of the Michigan Brewers Guild, joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to preview the event.
Graham said over 80 different breweries from around the state will be on hand at the festival pouring samples of 600 different types of beers.
He also talked about the growth of the microbrew and craft brewing industry in Michigan and it’s wide-reaching economic impact on both the Upper Peninsula and the rest of the state.
The 8th Annual U.P. Fall Beer Festival runs from 1:00pm to 6:00pm this Saturday and ticket information and more is available at the Michigan Brewers Guild website.
