Documentary Film, “Do It For Daniel”, Set To Premiere In Ishpeming

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Premiere events for the documentary film “Do It For Daniel” are happening soon in Marquette County.

    The film celebrates the life of a young man, Daniel Olson, who struggled with depression and ultimately succumbed to the condition.

    Daniel’s father, Ishpeming Hematites Head Football Coach Jeff Olson, joined Sports Director Mike Plourde on the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about the film.

    Olson said the film tells Daniel’s story but also seeks to raise awareness for others in the community that are currently battling along the fronts of a similar journey through depression and anxiety.

    The film is set to premiere on Friday, August 12th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, August 13th at 2:00 pm the the W.C. Peterson Auditorium in Ishpeming.

    The showings will be immediately followed by a reception each day at the Gossard Building in downtown Ishpeming.
