Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Playing a round of golf in Marquette in February has become a reality thanks to Northern Michigan University.
NMU Head Golf Coach and Teaching Pro at the Marquette Golf & Country Club Kyle Wittenbach joined Mike Plourde on the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to explain.
Wittenbach said hitting the links without heading south is now possible with a new high-tech golf simulator at the Physical Instructional Education Facility at NMU.
He said the simulator allows a person to play on a multitude of golf courses around the world and also can serve to diagnose problems with a person’s game.
Wittenbach says the simulator can be used to diagnose and help correct problems in a swing, short game and more.
He added that there will be an open house for all golfers to come and check out the simulator at NMU on Saturday, February 7th.
