Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, or “UPAWS”, is presenting their Annual Chili Cook-off in Ishpeming.
UPAWS Manager Lareina Van Strien visited The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike recently to announce the event is happening on Saturday February 7th, from 6-8pm at the Red Rock Lanes Banquet Center in Ishpeming at the Country Village.
She said for a $10 donation at the door, you can have all you can eat and vote for the best chili in Marquette County.
Also, if you think you got the best chili you can enter your chili to win 1st place, 2nd place or Most Unique Chili of Marquette County, but you must register your Chili by January 31st.
The event also features live music by The Louisiana Bayou Boys.
