Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Upper Peninsula Animal Shelter is inviting all to attend a screening of “Redemption”, a film about the no-kill animal shelter revolution in America.

Ann Brownell from UPAWS joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about this documentary which features UPAWS as one of the leading no-kill shelters in the nation.

Brownell said UPAWS Board President, Reva Laituri, appears in the film and speaks about UPAWS, it’s history and no-kill mission.

The event is free and open to the public, but as always, donations are welcome.

The film is being shown this Thursday at the Historic VISTA Theater in Downtown Negaunee at 7:00 p.m.
