Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio) – In just a few days, the Marquette Noon Kiwanis will be holding their 60th annual Chicken Barbecue, and Mike Plourde sat down in the studio with Amy Lerlie and Christian Verardi, president and president elect (respectively) of the Noon Kiwanis to get some information on the event.

The annual Noon Kiwanis Chicken Barbecue is a fundraiser that supports a number of different charities and activities throughout Marquette County, and almost 100% of the funds raised go back into the community. Each year, the Noon Kiwanis members work hard in the summer heat serving-up delicious grilled chicken, and the dinner also includes a baked potato, roll, desert, and even a beverage.

In addition to the great eats, there will also be a raffle! Tickets for the raffle are just two dollars, and there are a number of great prizes to win! Tickets for the bbq are just $10, and raffle tickets are only $2, so come out and show your support!
