    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – For the last bout of the home season, the Dead River Derby presents “When CANADA Attacks” the first International Flat Track Roller Derby game at Lakeview Arena on Saturday, August 23rd.

    Dead River Derby girls Glory Sparks and A-ROAR-A joined Mike Plourde on the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike to preview this history-making matchup.

    They explained that the DRD Girls are taking on the vicious Canadian powerhouse Soonami Slammers from Soo, Canada.

    The girls said doors open at 6:00pm with the match starting at 7:00pm and you can bring a folding chair or cushion for up-close track side seating.

    Also available to enjoy a great view are the arena bleachers and special VIP seating.

    Tickets $8 in advance, $10 at the door, Kids ages 10-17 $5 and 9 and under are free, with V.I.P. seating for $25.
