Shakespeare’s King Lear Comes To Life Twice This Month In Marquette County

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Westwood Shakespeare Company will present William Shakespeare’s King Lear this month in two locations in Marquette County.

    Company artistic director, and portrayer of King Lear,  B.G. Bradley joined The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike recently to discuss the shows and encourage listeners to attend.

    Bradley said the company is closing in on our opening after a year of preparation, and that the past year has seen numerous rehearsals and sit-down discussions of the nuances of Lear’s characters and script.

    The Westwood Shakespeare Company will present the Bard’s game of thrones, King Lear, in its entirety, at Westwood Auditorium August 12-16, 7:30 p.m. and at Lake Superior Theater’s Frazier Boathouse August 19-22, 7:30 p.m.

    Tickets for the Westwood production are available at the door for $10 for adults and $5 for students.
