MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – As the NFL football season approaches, an age-old Upper Michigan divide is presenting itself on the area’s cable-connected televisions.  Packers or Lions?

Well, in this case, it’s The Green Bay Packers.

Don Gladwell, Manager of Government Relations, and Bill Morand, Regional Communications Director, both with Charter, visited The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike to discuss this year’s planned coverage of those football squads via the Carter cable system

Gladwell and Morand talked about  how the Detroit Lions coverage will be lesser than the coverage of the Green Bay Packers due to regulatory constraints that are out of their hands.

They also talked about how Charter is in the continuing process of upgrading their service to the digital platform and that customers in Upper Michigan will soon need an interface to receive their programs.
